The decision in RAV Bahamas v Therapy Beach Club: implications for parties and arbitrators

The recent decision of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in RAV Bahamas Ltd and another v Therapy Beach Club Incorporated [2021] UKPC 8 has thrown significant light on certain fundamental features of the law relating to the setting-aside of arbitral Awards in the Bahamas on the basis of "serious irregularity", and, by extension, the likely interpretation of section 68 English Arbitration Act 1996 and common law in the same respect.
