Vasily Papkin and Mikhail Marnachev - new partners of the firm

We are pleased to announce the appointment of counsels Vasily Papkin and Mikhail Marnachev, both corporate/M&A, as partners of the firm. 

For 14+ years, Vasily has been advising international and Russian companies on corporate and commercial law matters. In addition to substantial experience of M&A transactions, Vasily has considerable expertise in complex construction projects, including ones implemented under the EPC model, and in drafting equipment and resource supply and transshipment contracts. Recently, he has been advising the firm's key clients on large-scale development projects in energy, industrial construction and infrastructure.

Mikhail is a key corporate law specialist with 15 years of experience in cross-border and Russian M&A transactions, joint ventures and complex intra-group restructurings. Recent projects he has led include advising Gazprombank on one of the most significant Russian M&A deals of 2023: $2.3m+ acquisition from Swedish Ingka Centresof Mega, a big chain of shopping centres in Russia.
